Interior Design Program
Purpose of the Program
To train contemporary designers who can make technical drawings using art and technology as a result of changing consumer and producer needs and requirements, who have acquired the necessary knowledge and technical equipment at international standards for the realization of the spaces they design, who have the confidence to design and work independently, who are aware of professional responsibility and ethical values.
For this purpose; It is aimed to train Interior Design technicians who have the necessary basic knowledge and skills in Interior Design, who have the basic knowledge and skills, who are based on universal and scientific education, who can combine theoretical knowledge with practice, who can fulfill the requirements of the profession, who perceive problems in the field, who can produce solutions, who follow technological developments, who have ethical values, teamwork and sense of responsibility.
Titles and Employment Areas of Graduates
In the Interior Design program, theoretical and practical education is given at the two-year associate degree level. Education and training given in the Interior Design program; theoretical, practical, project and workshop studies are carried out. Students who successfully complete the program and graduate are awarded an associate degree diploma in Interior Design program and the title of Interior Design technician.
Students who graduate from the Interior Design program; interior architecture, architecture offices, furniture design and production enterprises, decoration companies, restoration companies, construction and engineering offices can be employed as designers, production and planning officers, project staff, managers, executive assistants, authorized technicians, controllers, as well as their own workplaces.
